My existing spring broke on my Samsung 3-year old french door refrigerator, Model Number: RF197ACPN/XAA. (18 cu ft) This is the spring that keeps the divider between the doors in the correct position when you open the left door. When this spring breaks, the divider just flaps around making it difficult to close the door. It took me a minute or so to replace the spring. It's a little tricky because you have to really flex the spring to get it into the 2nd hole. I was worried that I was going to either break the spring or the plastic part that it goes into. It worked out fine and the door now works as it should. This little spring sure gets a lot of wear & tear and I'm expecting it to break again in a few years. Seems like a poor design, IMHO.

Worked perfectly. amazing how a small part that breaks can render an entire appliance useless. I order a few extras in case the one on the other door breaks too. Its been 6 months now and the part works as well as the original.

We bought one of these from another vendor and really love it. The color is very nice. We enjoy the door in door feature for quick access to milk, butter, and other condiments, not to mention baby bottles. The crisper is nice, thought I wish the separators were more wall like, instead of rails only. Overall, the entire thing is quite spacious and we're very happy with it. The front is magnetic, which is equally nice for a stainless variety. Overall, we are very happy with the purchase. It cools quickly (we plugged it in and filled with cold products from our old fridge and it worked great.

Beautiful and spacious addition to our kitchen. We love the bright lighting, large size and beautiful finish (black stainless). The controls are easy to set. This fridge is really quiet. Love it!
