However, it is extremely overpriced.
Very, very expensive for a 25 cent coil spring that should never have broken, and
after only 2-3 years of use by an adult family of two?????

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful  Springs works as it should., September 4, 2015 This review is from: Samsung DA81-01345B Spring French (Tools & Home Improvement) My existing spring broke on my Samsung 3-year old french door refrigerator, Model Number: RF197ACPN/XAA. (18 cu ft) This is the spring that keeps the divider between the doors in the correct position when you open the left door. When this spring breaks, the divider just flaps around making it difficult to close the door. It took me a minute or so to replace the spring. It's a little tricky because you have to really flex the spring to get it into the 2nd hole. I was worried that I was going to either break the spring or the plastic part that it goes into. It worked out fine and the door now works as it should.
This little spring sure gets a lot of wear & tear and I'm expecting it to break again in a few years. Seems like a poor design, IMHO. Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you?

I order a few extras in case the one on the other door breaks too. Its been 6 months now and the part works as well as the original.
